What Our Customers Think

• My 2 kitties had to have a prolonged stay at the cattery while I was in between houses. Tabitha who is 20 and Lucy who is only one. They were here for over 2 months and I was so worried about them but I didn't need to be! They had plenty of cuddles, were closely monitored especially Tabitha as she was so old and Rachel said multiple times what lovely, nice, affectionate cats they both were. Halfway through their stay I had to take them to the vet to get their boosters. She gave them a check up and was amazed at how calm and happy they were despite all the upheaval. Even Tabitha's heart rate was very calm when she expected it to be racing, and she remarked just how happy and relaxed they must be at the cattery to be like this! Many thanks to everyone who looked after them. I cannot fault this place and would definitely recommend! Tabitha and Lucy send their love and appreciation x

• Just got home from picking up Yashvi after a ten-night stay. I was quite nervous about leaving her as it was the first time, and she's got separation anxiety and is reactive.
  
  Well, seems like she's only a stress head at home. I got reports that she was completely fine being there, settled well and when I picked her up, she was completely fine! A happy baby. Back home she's settled easy-peasy too.
  
  She's learnt to Awooo and I'll put that down to her being sad to leave and if my dog is alright there with all her problems, I don't think anyone has anything to worry about!

• Thank you to all the staff at High Barn Farm for their outstanding care, professionalism and overall exceptional service.
  
  This is the second time we have booked our dog Nicki in for a stay (longer than 1 week) and both times she has left High Barn Farms happy. Importantly, her psychology is good, her overall appearance is great and through her own independent interactions with staff, we can see she is clearly very well looked after.
  
  The staff have always been kind, professional, communicative and helpful (I.e, with additional advice or booking process).

• This was our first time leaving our 10yr old dog Ollie in kennels, we were all a little worried. We needn't have worried though, when we picked him up he was upset to be leaving the staff and loved the doggie hotel watching the Smurfs while laying on his sofa, Thank you so much for looking him so well, will definitely be bringing him again xx

• I was quite apprehensive about leaving Schumee and Molly as they are used to being just with me.
  I booked them into the hotel and as I drove away I just knew that they would be OK.
  It is a lovely place with very caring staff and I would not hesitate to board them at High Barn again

• Our Lemon Beagle has just returned from his vacation at this well run kennels. When we picked him up he didn’t know we were there…..this meant we could get a look into his wellbeing…. • Again needn’t have worried, left Zimba & Mika a few nights longer this time , they came out of Hotel looking great and happy, in fact they both had the hump when we got them home, don’t think they wanted to come home.
  We can go away next year and not have to worry about them, thank you Jennet Richard and Rachel , Page and Codey and any one I have missed for taking great care of them,,our dogs love you , already booked for next year.

• First visit for our Boxer as she was covid dog our other dog hasn’t been in Highbarn for a few years.
  Needn’t have worried though they went straight off and didn’t looked back.
  Just done overnight visit as we’re going away soon and again they were fine.

• To Everyone at the kennels
  My dogs Narla and Oscar have been coming to kennels since they were puppies. Now 8 and 7 yrs . They have had short and long stays . I never worry when I leave them . Everyone is so lovely and very honest about your dogs . One time they called me as one of the dogs had a small issue but they were onnit and it was dealt with , with great care and expertise . My dogs always love to get out of the car and go off and that says a lot . They always come back looking the picture of health and are very happy . At home my make dog is not keen on men however at kennels he just trots off with any of them . I always try and book way in advance as I won't leave them anywhere else . Thankyou to everyone for your care you give to my dogs

• Great place with lovely people.
  My cocker spaniel Loki has been coming to high barn since he was a puppy for both day car & overnight stays. He is always so excited when we pull up & ready for a sleep when we get home! It’s great to have the option of the dog hotel too.
  You can tell everyone that works here has a massive love for animals & are really personable with all customers
