We have used High Barn Farm Kennels since our Labrador was 8 months old. He loves the long-established staff, who now know him well. He never looks back when we drop him off. The staff are very concerned to meet the individual needs of the animals in their care. There is a lot of love. Our dog has had short and long stays at the kennels during the past 4 years.
We find it very re-assuring that all dogs must have up - to date vaccination certificates. The dogs all have individual time out of their warm kennels several times per day and other services such as bathing are available on request. There is a variety of accommodation to meet the needs of both dogs and owners! It’s ’Home from home‘!Susanne and Hugh Busher-Maddox

Herb, our Cocker Spaniel, has been attending High Barn Farm Kennels regularly for ‘day care’ (and sometimes for overnight stays) from a young age. He enjoys going to meet his friends, and we appreciate the helpful staff, and the warm and friendly atmosphere. Knowing Herb is staying in an environment where he is happy and well cared for, enables us to continue with our daily work commitments without needing to worry about his wellbeing when we can’t be with him. Thank you!

I cannot speak highly enough of High Barn Kennels; my dog is 13 years old and these are the ONLY kennels which he has run into with his tail wagging and without a backward glance to me which is a wonderful way to start a holiday. Thank you to all the staff!

Just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for taking my 5 dogs at short notice. It meant a lot as I knew they would be safe and happy with you and it enabled me to take my first short break for 5 years.
Everything looked well as Katie-May, Mia, Trixie, Millie and Tiffany-Belle were all very relaxed and settled when I collected them. It was obvious they had been well cared for, even if Millie did pull a fast one to get carried to the office bless her.
I knew they would be happy with you as your kennels were the only place I trusted with my rescue Doberman Fitzwilliam quite a few years back when I lived in Leicester. I wasn't disappointed, they'd all obviously had a good time ...worth the drive from Peterborough to know they were safe ...
Thank you for enabling me to get a break away it meant so much as I'd had a tough few years, firstly nursing my assistance dog, a GSD called Wolfie through lung cancer, only to lose him 10 months later to another, more aggressive cancer.
Then supporting my mum who was struck down with a devastating, debilitating illness in which we came close to losing her on several occasions.
Then we lost my dad to cancer just 14 months after my assistance dog and sadly, finally losing Mum a couple of months ago, just one year and 2 days after Dad. I was so ready to take this break and your kennels made this possible. Thankyou it means so much xx I will be driving my crew out to you again next time I get chance to go away xKatie-May, Mia, Trixie, Millie and Tiffany-Belle
